Join us every weekend for spiritual services, cultural activities, and our beloved food court.
At Wat Thai, cultural exchange opportunities are endless, and many activities and services in accordance with Thai cultures are offered.
Tak Baat – Giving Alms (ตักบาตร)
8:30 AM – 10:00 AM, every first Sunday of the month.
Visitors can make merit by donating items that are necessary for monks. The offering ceremony “Tak Baat” involves giving food and other necessities to monks on every first Sunday of the month and on special Thai holidays.
Buddhist Sunday School
American-born Thai children attend the Buddhist Sunday School or summer school to learn the Thai language and culture as well as Buddhist morality.
Thai Language Classes
There is a language class designed especially for non-Thai students who desire to learn conversational Thai. Wat Thai offers reasonably priced beginning and intermediate classes held year-round.
Students can learn to speak, read, and write the Thai language on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Classes are held year-round in the red building.

Thai Classical Music & Dance
Other activities include classes in traditional Thai classical music instruments as well as Thai classical dance.
Weekend Food Court
The food court is open every Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, featuring a wide selection of authentic Thai dishes such as Pad Thai, Boat Noodles soup, Som Tum (papaya salad), chicken satay, mango sticky rice, Thai iced tea, and many other traditional favorites.
