Buddhist School for Adults

Wat Thai of Los Angeles offers a Buddhist Study School for adults who wish to deepen their understanding of Theravada Buddhist teachings. Our courses are designed for both newcomers and those with prior knowledge of Buddhism.

• Meditation techniques (Samatha and Vipassana)

Class Format

Classes are taught by experienced monks and lay teachers at the temple. Each session includes a lecture or Dharma talk, group discussion, and a period of guided meditation. Course materials are provided to all enrolled students.

Who Can Attend

The Buddhist Study School is open to adults aged 18 and older, regardless of religious background or prior experience with Buddhism. All are welcome to attend.

Schedule & Enrollment
