About Our Thai Language Program
Wat Thai of Los Angeles offers reasonably priced, beginning and intermediate Thai language classes. Students can learn to speak, read, and write the Thai language.
Class Schedule
Classes are held year-round:
- Days: Saturdays and Sundays
- Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Location: Red building at Wat Thai of Los Angeles

Levels Offered
Beginner
This class offers you an introduction to the Thai language and Thailand itself. It can be your window on one of the most fascinating countries in Southeast Asia. Thailand has much to offer—its rich culture, ancient traditions, magnificent architecture and most of all, its lovely people. Thai people are by nature both friendly and open. In Thailand "hospitality" is not just a concept, it's a way of life. Once you experience it, you will never forget it, and language is the key. Students will learn Thai consonants, vowels, tone marks, and simple conversation.
Intermediate
Focusing on conversational Thai and expanding your vocabulary. You will learn to read simple documents, street signs, use Thai numbers, and other information necessary to explore Thailand and Thai culture. Beginning students are also encouraged to attend.
